Terms and Conditions

Interpretation and Binding Nature

Any and all matters or questions not specifically addressed in these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the sole discretion and interpretation of Business Agility Tune Up (PVT) Ltd. Business Agility Tune Up, in its sole and reasonable discretion, may refuse or cancel a registration at any time and in such event shall not be responsible for any fees or costs incurred as a result of such refusal or cancellation.

Registration Required

Name badges are required for in-person access to/attendance at the Regional Scrum Gathering Colombo 2025. This includes all sessions, networking, and other functions held in conjunction with the event.

Official Language/Interpretation Services

The official language of the Regional Scrum Gathering Colombo 2025 is English.

Purchase of Passes

Transform In-person Pass: Includes access to the event on April 4-5, 2025. Covers education sessions, meals, and networking opportunities as outlined in the official event schedule.

Ignite Live Stream Pass: Includes access to live-streamed sessions on April 4-5, 2025. This pass is only available for individuals residing outside Sri Lanka.

 Inclusions

The in-person registration fee includes admittance to education sessions, meals, and networking events, as outlined in the official Regional Scrum Gathering Colombo 2025 schedule. Seating at the conference is on a first-seated basis. It is recommended that you arrive early and register prior to the conference commencement.

Exclusions

The in-person registration fee does not include travel, lodging, ground transportation, or other out-of-pocket expenses associated with attendance at the Regional Scrum Gathering Colombo 2025. Attendees are solely responsible for and must make those arrangements on their own.

Special Dietary Requests, Food Allergies, and Other Special Needs

Individuals with food allergies or special dietary needs must note their specific request(s) at the time of registration. Business Agility Tune Up (PVT) Ltd will make reasonable efforts to accommodate dietary requests; however, we cannot guarantee specific requests will be met. Specific requests made at the event may not be accommodated.

Any special needs pertaining to mobility impairment or other physical limitations should be fully noted/disclosed at the time of registration. This information will be forwarded to the venue, and reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate these needs.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

No registration cancellations and refund requests will be accepted. A transfer of registration to another participant will be allowed only up to three days prior to the event date. You may make only one transfer per original registrant. The individual submitting the transfer request is responsible for all financial obligations associated with that transfer. Any transfer requests should be submitted to the organizing committee via email to events@businessagilitytuneup.com. Refunds will not be given for no-shows.

 Transfers/Substitutions and Lost Badges for In-person Attendees

Badge sharing is strictly prohibited. Badge reprints, due to a lost badge, will be charged LKR 2,000 and limited to one reprint.

 Terms and Conditions for Online Streaming Event

Eligibility: The Transform Live Stream Pass is exclusively available for individuals residing outside Sri Lanka.

Access: Online attendees will receive a unique access link via email prior to the event. Sharing or distributing this link is strictly prohibited.

Technical Requirements: Participants are responsible for ensuring they have a stable internet connection and compatible devices to access the live stream. Business Agility Tune Up (PVT) Ltd will not be responsible for technical difficulties on the attendee’s side.

Recording: Live-streamed sessions may not be recorded, distributed, or reproduced in any form without the express written consent of Business Agility Tune Up (PVT) Ltd.

Proprietary Rights of Business Agility Tune Up (PVT) Ltd

Except as expressly authorized in writing by Business Agility Tune Up (PVT) Ltd, you are strictly prohibited from selling, licensing, renting, modifying, distributing, copying, reproducing, transmitting, publicly displaying or performing, publishing, adapting, editing, or creating derivative works from such materials, content, or other protected work product. Reproduction, copying, creation of derivative works, or redistribution for commercial purposes of any materials or design elements of Business Agility Tune Up (PVT) Ltd or any presenter’s intellectual property is strictly prohibited, without the express written permission of Business Agility Tune Up (PVT) Ltd and the presenters.

By attending the Regional Scrum Gathering Colombo 2025, you hereby grant your voluntary consent that your likeness or image, captured by photo or video, or your voice captured by recording, may be used by Business Agility Tune Up (PVT) Ltd for promotional and archival purposes in print, video, and online, or in any other format, without notice or compensation to you.

Code of Conduct

All participants, in-person and virtual, are expected to behave professionally, respectfully, and civilly at all times during the event. Obscene or offensive language or loud, disruptive, abusive, or threatening behavior directed to any other event attendee, speaker, Business Agility Tune Up (PVT) Ltd representatives, or building personnel is not conducive to a learning environment and will not be tolerated. Those who violate this policy may be removed from the event and their registration terminated. In the case of such removal, no refunds will be made.

Sale or Public Display of Merchandise

Sale or public display of any merchandise or products at any location, other than that which has been specifically authorized by Business Agility Tune Up (PVT) Ltd in writing and in advance, is strictly prohibited. Violators will be subject to cancellation of their room reservations and revocation of their event participation and registration without refund.

Sharing of Information

If, when registering for Regional Scrum Gathering Colombo 2025, you granted Business Agility Tune Up (PVT) Ltd permission to have your electronic personal information stored in our system, the information you provided upon completing your registration will be used to help Business Agility Tune Up (PVT) Ltd plan and execute the event and to contact you with essential event information via email. You can unsubscribe at any time by contacting us at events@businessagilitytuneup.com.

Mobile Usage

Please respect your colleagues and speakers. All mobile phones must be turned off during in-person educational sessions, programs, presentations, and meetings.

Disclaimer

Presenters alone are responsible for the content of their respective programs and presentations, which are made available for informational purposes only. The views and opinions expressed in the sessions are not necessarily those of Business Agility Tune Up (PVT) Ltd and are not endorsed by Business Agility Tune Up (PVT) Ltd. Business Agility Tune Up (PVT) Ltd specifically disclaims any and all legal liability or responsibility for the content expressed in the sessions or materials distributed as a part of the session.

Disclaimer of Damages and Liability

Business Agility Tune Up (PVT) Ltd hereby disclaims and denies any and all liability or responsibility whatsoever for any losses, damages, or injuries (including death) to persons or property sustained or alleged to have been sustained by any attendee or any attendee’s employees, agents, guests, or representatives arising out of or resulting either directly or indirectly from attendance at or participation in the Regional Scrum Gathering Colombo 2025. Each attendee shall be solely responsible for any property damages or injuries caused, either directly or indirectly, by the conduct of such attendee (or the attendee’s employees, agents, guests, or representatives) and shall indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Business Agility Tune Up (PVT) Ltd, its officers, directors, employees, and volunteers from and against any and all third-party claims, actions, or causes of action, damages, injuries, losses, liabilities, judgments, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, incurred or to be incurred by Business Agility Tune Up (PVT) Ltd and which arise out of such third-party claim. This duty of indemnification will survive the conclusion of the event.

Failure to Perform

Business Agility Tune Up (PVT) Ltd shall not be liable for any failure to perform or any delay in performing its obligations if the failure or delay is due directly or indirectly to any cause beyond the reasonable control of Business Agility Tune Up (PVT) Ltd, its employees, volunteers, agents, or representatives which shall include, but is not limited to, fire, flood, explosion, accident, Acts of Nature, including hurricane, tornado, earthquake, acts of terrorism, civil disturbance or emergency or periods of armed conflict, labor strikes or stoppages, public health emergency, including pandemic or epidemic, or travel advisory, or the curtailment of transportation facilities which makes the conduct of the event impossible, illegal, or commercially impractical.

Waiver

Waiver by Business Agility Tune up (PVT) Ltd of any of these Terms and Conditions shall not constitute a waiver of any other term or condition or breach of these Terms and Conditions.

Severability

In the event any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held invalid or unenforceable, then neither the remaining provisions of these Terms and Conditions nor other applications of provisions involved shall be affected thereby.

 Amendment

These terms and conditions shall be deemed binding upon registrants Regional Scrum Gathering Colombo 2025. Business Agility Tune up (PVT) Ltd reserves the right, in its sole and reasonable discretion, to amend such terms and conditions as it determines appropriate and necessary under the circumstances. Business Agility Tune up (PVT) Ltd will endeavor to provide registrants with notice of any such changes.
